Missions

Missions
Monday March 7, 2011

We are getting ready for our missoins trip in April.
My husband, my daughter and I will be traveling to
Nicaragua and Honduras.  We are looking forward
to see what God has in store for us.
When we lived in New Jersey God was teaching
us all along.  We watched his hand work in other
mission teams that went abroad.  Our church is
involved in many parts of the world with missions.
When we met Rigoberto Reyes and his wife one
Sunday while they were visiting from Nicaragua.
My husband and I began talking to him about our
desire to teach people how to grow food.
We prayed together, and waited on the Lord.
Now two years later we will be meeting with our
friends in Nicaragua on April 13 to see how God
wants to use us in the Bonete Farm Project.
Missions Door is providing us with a Spanish
travel leader while we are in Central America.

Philippians 1:3-6
I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel until now, being confident of this that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

  1. I wish you all the best in your mission work. May the Lord bless and use the work to bring others to Him. Phil. 1:3-6 is a great promise that the Lord Jesus will preservere for us and finish the good work He began in us. I hope we get to hear about the trip when you come back. Thanks for letting me know of your blog address change. Have a great day.
